So much is happening in Old Town Hall!
Old Town Hall is a vital center for the arts and arts organizations in Easthampton. The Victorian structure completed in 1869, is located on Main Street and naturally serves as an epicenter for the city's cultural activities. The arts initiative commenced in 2006 with the revitalization of the empty building that previously housed the city's police and planning departments.
After restoration and renovations to the first floor, the building is now home to arts related organizations and businesses including Eastmont Custom Framing, Elusie Gallery, the Easthampton Cultural Council, and Easthampton City Arts. Flywheel, a non-profit volunteer-run community arts space that produces concerts and performances, will move into the remaining downstairs space pending final construction. The City of Easthampton leases the building to CitySpace, Inc., a non-profit that oversees the building's operations. Future plans hold the redevelopment of the upstairs grand hall, renovating it into a functioning performance and event space.
